In the sense of ''valuable'' antiques I would say no, not ever. Mainly because they were so common (or popular, I suppose). If in the future the price of these phones started to rise due to demand (retro fashions ?) on ebay for example, then every man & his dog would start trying to sell the 3210, c520 or whatever old handsets they have lying at the back of the desk drawer & the prices would plummet.
As for them becoming antiques in the ''curiosity'' sense I think only the innovative & groundbreaking phones will make the grade.
Eventually, everything becomes an antique.
That does not mean they will be valuable, or even that anyone will want to buy them. Antique just means they are old.
some of the early moblies are getting a lot of money now the motorola star-tac v1 and the sony mars bar c333 i think it was phones from the 80s are the one to have hidding in draws both sell for over £250 but the nokia 3210e and moto c520 are not really doing much try the (metro old phone for cash) site should get £30 to £40 for both
course it could anything can
sum mobiles from da 80 is already are
Unfortunately, I've always been told that parts to fix mobile phones or to replace an accessory (carrying case, example) no longer get made...... for this reason, I hate newer technology--when I find something that works well with me, I do not want to replace it in a cpl yrs!
they allready are! highly collectable. keep every thing you have. in a few years youl be glad you did. after all!! they hardly take up a lot of room eh!!
nope lol
they are ten a penny
have you looked on ebay for them?
they are lucky to sell for more than £5
yes but not yet, maybe in about 10 or 20 years they will get something but not at the moment. i'd say hold onto them
If there like a common product to the public theres no chance of them becoming antiques.. I'd keep um because i find it hard to let go of memory's.
I would not think so (Or maybe in a couple of hundred years), Maybe the very old brick phones will be.
Sell them on ebay, These old mobiles are always offered for free on freecycle.org
